Flower Child- Original Oil Painting

I wanted to capture the youthfulness of Spring, and what came out is "Flower Child." Surrounded by a beautiful blue sky, she is bright-eyed and ready for all the new things this season will bring. She reminds me of the transition from child to teenager, when most of us wished to grow older, faster. Hindsight as an adult is wild though. 

This is another entry into my 12 Muses series where I take the birthstone and flower of the month and turn them into a representation of the Feminine.
